Two traps worth knowing

You usually cannot hire for one day

Events are typically a four‑day minimum, portable ensuites five days, building site units four weeks. A one‑day wedding is billed as a four‑day hire, and it rarely comes up until the quote arrives.

Check whether GST is in the number

Some quote excluding GST and some including it, which makes one look 10% cheaper for identical service. One Brisbane operator publishes both side by side — $350 excluding, $385 including. That is the honest way to do it.
